After having lunch in a restaurant of Ambert’s city-center, direction the Hautes-Chaumes for a pedestrian hike in the heart of Regional Natural Park of Livradois-Forez. A little winding mountainous road with an exceptional panorama, drives us until Valcivières, at 15 km from Ambert, Valcivières a little village in Forez’s deep.
On the Hautes-Chaumes of Forez, we overlook alml the valley. Blue sky, without any clouds : at east we see the Alpes, at west we have « Massif du Sancy ». An exceptional and breathtaking panorama.
During the hike, a quick snack at Jasserie Le Coq Noir, in Col des Supeyres with charcuterie of Auvergne and patia, potatoes cooked in cream. When we are satisfied, we have to continue our hike on the path of mountainous life, discovering fauna and flora still preserved in the Hautes-Chaumes of Forez.
